OK, so I am a 48 year old women with fine lines and my skin is a little blotchy. I have spend countless dollars on differant makeup until a friend recommended Clinique Makeup. I was skeptical at first and thought it was a bit high priced, however, I tryed it and will not use any other makeup anymore.
Clinique makeup will match any skin tone. It is not heavy and won’t settle into fine lines and become flakey. Clinique is perfect for oily, dry, senstive and combination skin. It is flawless, lightweight, has great consistency, lasts all day and keeps your skin looking fresh. I promise if you try it, you too will fall in love with clinique.
As I was talking to my husband last week, he made a comment that surprised me. He told me that many of his friends would not spend money on things such as cologne. That is something they leave up to their wifes.
I asked my husband how he felt, he told me there is nothing like the smell of a fine cologne such as his favorite, Cool Water, to make a man feel better about himself . It is also important for a man to feel confident and not let today’s economy stop them from smelling good and feeling good about themselves.
Most people are well aware of the nutritional benefits of sodium, potassium and calcium. Each of these minerals is required by the body for dietary purposes, and they keep us healthy and functioning at peak condition. Still, the beneficial properties of minerals go far beyond the dietary realm. Bath mineral salts add therapeutic value to what would otherwise be a routine bathing experience.
Calcium is highly touted for increasing circulation and cleansing clogged pores. Sodium bolsters the immune system and binds together with water to alleviate dry skin. It also helps with the regular functions of cells – collecting nourishment and expunging waste materials. Potassium adds a vital boost of energy to the body; people who put on water weight are usually experiencing potassium deficiency.
There is an art to wearing perfume that to many women overlook sometimes. So here are a few rules of thumb.
Because we use differant products on our skin from shower gels to lotions to perfume, we need to be careful with the scents we choose that they do not intermingle. If you would rather smell your moisterizer, then apply an unscented deodorant, or if you would rather smell your perfume go with an unscented moisterizer also.
The application is probably the most overlooked part of wearing perfume. Lightly spray your pulse points (chest, ankles, neck and behind your knees) a half spray may be all you need for each area. You may want to try spraying a cotton ball with a subtle casual fragrance such as Chanel Chance and using it as an applicator to diffuse the fragrance a little more.
Remember, if your perfume lingers longer then you do in a room or if people can smell your perfume before they get close to you, you may be wearing to much
If your stressed out or just want to focus, aromatherapy candles can help. Over 6000 years ago the egyptians used aromatherapy in baths and massages. In the 1930’s it became an alternative method of healing.
Today, aromatherapy candles are used widely to heal the mind, body & spirit. Essential oils in the candles flow through your body to set the right mood.
If you have had a long day at work, had a long day with the kids, aromatherapy candles can melt the stress away. Just light the candle, sit back with a good book or just relax and begin to feel the differance.
Women say they wear fragrances to smell good, but what they’re really hoping is to attract men. Womens fragrances like musk oil have traditionally been worn to attract men.
In order to find out what smells can help a woman to find a man, or excite her current partner, it’s best to ask men directly what women’s perfume they like. One befuddled man said, “I don’t know, I am just a guy … but I like a fragrance that I can only smell when I am close enough to kiss her neck.”
Another guy said, “A sweet smell, but nothing too strong. Just the mere hint of something that’s maybe citrusy, or maybe musky, but not strong enough that you can tell for sure.”
So you’ve secured a big date for Friday night; as the work week passes, you begin to feel nervous. Even after picking out your nicest clothes, ironing them and laying them out well in advance, you can’t help but feel there’s something missing. A friend recommends you try his cologne as it “never fails to impress the ladies.” Hang on a minute: One scent does not fit all.
In fact, a men’s designer cologne might smell very different on you compared to the way it smells on someone else. Each body will have a unique reaction to the cologne, and that’s without even factoring in natural body heat. Apply the scent to your pulse points to get a general idea for its intensity. Ask a friend or roommate if the smell is overpowering; if so, dial it down with a more subtle scent.
