how to make your own green women’s perfume
With the way everyone is thinking “go green” and for good reason, I wonder just how green I could go. So I did some research and found that you can make your own green women’s perfume. This is one thing that I never thought of before, I do wonder how many of us women do think about just how green our perfume is.
After some research, I have found that not so many perfumes and colognes are as green as they claim to be. So if you want a true green perfume, try this recipe.
Find a flower that you would like your perfume to smell like. Make sure they are pesticide free and you will need about 1-1/2 cups of petals. Wash the petals to remove all dirt, put 2 cups distilled water in an aluminum pan, put petals in the pan, heat water till just below a boil, do not cook the flowers, let simmer about 2 hours, let cool and strain through cheesecloth to filter all particles, place in a bottle or other storage container and you are done. Use as normal.
